AI Recommendation Readiness Checklist
This checklist covers the concrete, checkable items that determine whether an AI system can find, understand, and recommend a brand. It follows the same categories Trocial checks in a real scan: brand facts, technical discoverability, proof, and competitive context.
Brand facts
- A clear, specific category statement (not just a tagline).
- A plainly stated core offer: what the product or service actually does.
- A named target customer or use case.
- Geography or markets served, stated explicitly.
Technical discoverability
- The site is crawlable (no accidental blocks on public marketing pages).
- Canonical tags are present and correct.
- Basic schema markup (Organization, WebSite, and page-specific types) is present.
- Metadata (title, description) is unique per page.
Proof and citations
- At least one page a model can cite for outcomes or results, not just claims.
- Consistent facts across the site - no contradicting details between pages.
- Third-party sources (reviews, press, documentation) that corroborate core claims.
Competitive context
- A comparison page naming real, specific alternatives.
- Clear differentiation stated in specific terms, not generic superlatives.
- An FAQ that answers the buyer questions a model is likely to be asked.
